Survey of your garden cabin
The first thing to do is to assess the state of your timber building. We do this by carrying out a full survey from top to bottom (including the base). This a non-invasive survey. So although there may be “hidden”out of sight” elements, we will get a very good idea of its health. There are tell tale signs that can indicate invisible problems, which we will include within the report.
Although we are based in Sussex, we can carry out surveys and garden cabin repairs nationwide. So whether you are local to us (we are in Horsham, West Sussex), or much further afield, we can help you.
Report back to you with our findings
The survey data is fed into our system which helps us to produce a thorough report. This report is the key to extending your garden cabin’s life. It not only highlights any problems but also says what you may need to keep under surveillance. This is shown in the form of an advisory note.
Now you are aware of the potential problems. But we don’t stop there. The survey report also includes estimates or quotes against each item so you can decide what you would like to do.

You can choose to leave your garden building “as is”. Or carry out some of the work or indeed all of the work. This is entirely your choice – we are not a high pressure sales company. We send these as “totally no obligation” quotes. You can call us if you need to work out a plan of action. Whether that be just a bit of maintenance or some major repair work without fear of being “strongly persuaded” (bullied!) into something that you are uncomfortable with.
You can contact any time after the survey if you want to stage the work over a period of time. Or you can schedule another survey for the future to see what, if anything, has changed. We can arrange for regular inspections. These will keep an eye on the building to make sure nothing gets out of hand.
