We don’t just sell log cabins. UK Log Cabins also supplies a large range of garden sheds built by Shedlands, a long-established UK shed manufacturer. These are solidly built sheds at competitive prices — not the flimsy, wobbly sheds you’ll often find in DIY chains or online marketplaces.
Every shed price includes nationwide delivery and professional installation carried out directly by the manufacturer’s own team, so you get a properly built shed with no third-party fitting risk. A wide range is also on permanent display at our showground near Horsham, West Sussex, so you can see the build quality in person before you order.
Choosing Your Garden Shed
All of our sheds are available in standard sizes, with custom sizes and bespoke layouts also available at little or no extra cost. For example, there’s no charge for moving a door or window to a different position.
Framing
Most sheds use 38x50mm nominal framing (32x44mm actual finished size once planed and machined). If you need a stronger building than a standard shed but don’t want the thicker walls of a full log cabin, you can upgrade the framing to:
- 44x44mm (actual finished size)
- 44x70mm (actual finished size)
Cladding
Standard cladding is 16mm nominal (12mm finished). Upgrade options include:
- 18mm Shiplap
- 15mm Loglap
- 15mm Tanalised Shiplap pressure-treated against rot and fungal attack, guaranteed for 10 years
Factory Painting
Unlike most shed suppliers, we offer factory painting as standard across a wide colour range (see the full Shedlands colour chart below). Choose your finish before delivery, and your shed arrives ready to use, no painting required after installation.
Dalby Garden Sheds on display in Horsham, Sussex
Our entry-level range is ideal for basic garden storage. Available in both apex and pent roof styles in a wide range of standard sizes. Our 8x6ft Apex Dalby shed on display at the Horsham showground is the pressure-treated Tanalised version, which increases the shiplap cladding thickness to 15mm as standard. The 6x4ft pent version is also on display. Custom sizes are available on request.
Supreme sheds
A step up from the Dalby range, taller, with a 3ft wide ledged and braced door fitted with a lock and key as standard. Further upgrade options are available below.
Heavy Duty Sheds
Built with a stronger 50x50mm framework, three Georgian-style windows (one opening), and a rim lock with a door knob as standard. The generous height makes these a good choice for a garden workshop.
Security Sheds
Designed specifically with security in mind. Framing runs every 305mm (12 inches) for a genuinely strong wall, which can be further reinforced with thicker cladding upgrades. Windows are narrow and set high to let in light without offering an entry point. The door is fitted with bolted-through hinges (so they can’t be removed) and a padlock protector that shields the padlock from bolt cutters or angle grinders.
Dutch Barn Shed
A distinctive design that makes use of extra space in the roof void, including a mezzanine storage area. Fitted with double doors and three windows, the centre one opening for ventilation.
Corner Shed
Purpose-built to sit neatly into the corner of a garden, where a square or rectangular shed can look awkward. The corner design softens the leading edge and blends naturally into the space.
Potting Sheds
A combination building, greenhouse, and garden storage in one. Keep everything you need for growing plants alongside your mower and garden tools in a single structure.
